VINEYARDS LOCATION: Contrada Torrazza, Corleone (PA).

TRAINING SYSTEM: Cordon trained and spur-pruned.

NUMBER OF VINES PER HA: 4.350.

YIELD PER HECTARE: 9 tonnes.

LYING POSITION AND SOIL QUALITY: Corleone (PA): 350 mt. a.l.s. Slightly sloping ground with an optimum presence of limestone.

GRAPES: Syrah.

HARVEST: Manual havest. August – September.

PREPARATION CARES: Reduction of the yield in vineyards (green harvest) and meticulous selection of bunches perfectly sound and ripe

VINIFICATION: The grapes were harvested by hand in crates. After sorting were destemmed and crushed. The vinification has followed a traditional procedure of pumping over and punching down at controlled temperature.The maturation took place in in stainless steel for four months.

BOTTLING MONTH: February.

WINE ANALYTICAL DATA: Alcohol 13,50 % vol. – Total Acidity 5,8 gr/l – Ph 3,48.

NOTES: It is a deep red wine that recalls cherry and soft fruit flavours with a fresh and persistent taste.

IDEAL SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16°.
