LYING POSITION AND SOIL QUALITY: Corleone (PA): 350 mt. a.l.s. Slightly sloping ground with an optimum presence of
limestone.

GRAPES: Nero d’Avola.

HARVEST: Manual havest. September

PREPARATION CARES: Reduction of the yield in vineyards (green harvest) and meticulous selection of bunches perfectly sound and ripe.

VINIFICATION: The grapes were harvested by hand in crates. After sorting were destemmed and crushed. The vinification has followed a traditional procedure of pumping over and punching down at controlled temperature. The maturation took place in in stainless steel for four months.

BOTTLING MONTH: February.

WINE ANALYTICAL DATA: Alcohol 13,00 % vol. – Total Acidity 6,2 gr/l – Ph 3,33.

NOTES: Very bright and penetrable red colour with purple highlights. It represents the expression of the grape and the terroir with notes of cherry and anise. The aftertaste shows a good complexity with fine and pleasant texture.

IDEAL SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16°.
